About Indented Head Yacht Club

Indented Head Yacht Club is arguably the best off-the-beach sailing location in Victoria. Pristine waters, a soft white sandy beach and a superb grassed rigging area. The wonderful variety of sailing conditions is just the icing on the cake.

The Yacht Club boasts great facilities with male and female toilets and changing rooms, hot showers and a canteen. There is a BYO bar and an observation deck/sailors lounge where one can watch the sailing or the kids swimming.

Speaking of swimming, this is a great beach for swimming, with a shallow bay and little current. There’s also a camping ground right next door, which is open over the season.

We welcome all classes, beginners to expert sailors at Indented Head. We run Olympic courses and have range of different classes to compete against, including the Olympic class the Laser, as well as Tasers, Sabres, Impulses and Optis.
