Food


Our plan is to ensure that food and drink options are available throughout the weekend so that nobody has to go far to get their next food hit, cup of coffee, or shot of alcohol to celebrate (or commiserate) their racing results.

Friday evening - local pizza

Friday evening will be pizza evening to build you up before the racing. There will be a choice of five pizzas, locally cooked and delivered hot and ready to eat.

All you need do is order your pizza at https://www.clubops.com.au/event/GHJYP and then enjoy it with your sailing mates in the warmth and comfort of the large Indented Head Community Hall.

You can make your choice of pizza in the Hall just prior to eating. Vegetarian and gluten-free pizzas will also be available. Pizza choices are:

BBQ Chicken – tomato, cheese, mushrooms, roast chicken, onion, BBQ sauce

Hawaiian – tomato, cheese, ham, pineapple

House special – tomato, cheese, ham, hot salami, capsicum, mushrooms, olives, onion

Margherita – tomato, cheese, herbs

Pepperoni – tomato, cheese, herbs & garlic

Vegetarian – tomato, cheese, capsicum, mushrooms, pineapple

The Lot – tomato, cheese, ham, hot salami, bacon, capsicum, onion, mushrooms, pineapple, olives, garlic, herbs, seafood

During the day - offerings to suit all tastes

Breakfast is provided by 1st Drysdale Scouts, including egg and bacon rolls from 8am.

Lunch is also available from the Scouts, as a lunch pack of salad rolls, drinks and fruit. To save yourself waiting or missing out, you can pre-order on their website at https://drysdalescouts.com/collections/all.

Coffee - the all-important elixir for sailing in May is available all day, provided by Divine Grind coffee.

Saturday evening meal - Italian Inspired Buffet Table

On Saturday evening, a buffet table will be available in the Indented Head Community Hall.

Regatta organisers have selected food for hungry, tired sailors, providing a choice of beef, pork or chicken, heaps of great salads, and seasonal roast vegetables. Vegetarian and gluten-free choices will also be available. 

The Italian Inspired Buffet Table will be ….

• Sliced continental breads with butter

• Pork and veal meatballs in a tomato and basil sugo

• Caponata, Italian style vegetable stew

• Chicken drumsticks scallopini style with mushroom, white wine and cream sauce

• Risoni with fresh herbs

• Green vegetables, served warm with Verde dressing

• Roasted vegetable and quinoa salad

• Garden salad with pickled veg

• Pannacotta with almond biscotti

• Italian Trifle

The above will be complemented with vegetarian pasta.

Note - to keep everyone well-fed, we may over-cater, and some extra meals may be available at the regatta at $37 per head. Best to pre-order though …..
