Adult Dinghy Courses
Sailing a Dinghy is fun and exhilarating and this program has been developed to provide a safe, informative introduction.
If your aim is to confidently control your own small boat, this is the place to start.
Adult L2S courses are delivered in small groups and supervised by Australian Sailing qualified Instructors and Assistant Instructors who are on the water all the time.
Starting with the essential skills and safe practice, more advanced skills and techniques are gradually introduced as students’ progress through the syllabus so that by the end they will be ready to start racing or just enjoy being out on the water.
Programs are either delivered as a as a series of sessions over 7 weeks Pre-Christmas / Post-Christmas or a 5 day holiday program (subject to interest).
Adult Intro to Sailing
This course is a short 1 hour session to give an introduction to sailing. The session is with an instructor on board with a limited number of participants. This is suitable for introducing individuals or families with groups of up to 3 or four people.

Adult Learn2Sail1
This course is designed to provide a safe and enjoyable introduction to Dinghy sailing for complete beginners. The course includes an introduction to fundamental boat handling skills and essential safety knowledge.

Adult L2Race
The aim of this course is to introduce Dinghy sailors to competitive sailing. The course focuses on refining enhanced boat handling skills including speed control and manoeuvres. Introducing basic racing tactics and strategies.
